My Journey to Healing. From Struggle to Spirit.

When Survival Becomes Your Story

I didn’t arrive at healing overnight. My path was long, messy, and paved with deep emotional pain. For years, I wore the mask of strength, doing what I thought I had to—pushing forward, staying “strong,” showing up for everyone but myself. But inside, I was unraveling.

My divorce wasn’t just the end of a relationship—it was a violent rupture that shook every part of my life. What followed was / is the years of post-separation abuse, manipulation, and legal battles that continued to drain my spirit and my health.

And then came 'co-parenting' — a terrain I never imagined would be so hostile. When you’re constantly being opposed, lied to, and emotionally undermined by the very person who is supposed to co-raise your children, it doesn’t just create stress—it creates trauma, and this trauma continued to be consistent.

When you’re trying to raise your children while simultaneously protecting your own peace, the toll is indescribable. Co-parenting with someone who opposes everything you do—not just in parenting, but in principle—can feel like you’re constantly swimming upstream with your kids in your arms. It’s lonely. It’s enraging. It’s defeating. And yet… you keep going. Because you have to.

Because they need you. Because you need you.

Every day, I was trying to be the best mother I could be while carrying the weight of pain I didn’t know how to process. I was exhausted. And eventually, my body started to break down too.

When Your Body Says “Enough”

I was diagnosed with Celiac disease, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), EOE (Eosinophilic Esophagitis), a Schatzki’s ring, and a hiatal hernia—a lineup of chronic conditions that screamed louder than I had ever allowed myself to.

My physical symptoms were a wake-up call: I could no longer ignore my truth. My body wasn’t my enemy—it was the messenger.

And so I began to listen.

Turning Inward: From Pain to Purpose

I returned to what had always called to me quietly: energy work, ancient wisdom, movement, and healing through nature. Over time, I became certified in the very tools that helped me begin to rebuild:

  • Certified Level 3 Reiki Practitioner

  • Sound Bowl Healer

  • Certified Ayurvedic Nutritionist

  • Yoga Instructor

  • Personal Trainer (with over 13 years of experience)

But I didn’t just use these tools to build a business—I used them to give myself what no one else could: permission to rest, space to breathe, and the radical acceptance to heal.

That’s why I created Přijetí—which means acceptance. Because healing doesn’t begin with forcing change. It begins when you finally allow yourself to be, exactly where you are.

Healing With Spirit

As I began to rebuild my life, I opened to Spirit. Messages began coming through—clear, powerful, and rooted in love. The more I listened, the more I trusted, and the more I was guided toward serving others. Spirit now walks with me in every session, in every sound bowl vibration, in every intuitive whisper I pass on.

Healing, for me, became more than physical. It became spiritual. It became sacred.

From Struggle to Spirit: My Mission Now

I know what it’s like to feel broken and completely alone. I know what it’s like to be gaslit, betrayed, exhausted, and sick. I know the courage it takes just to get out of bed some days—and the fire it takes to keep going.

But I also know what it means to RISE. To reclaim your body, your power, and your peace.

At Přijetí - Holistic Wellness , I now walk with others who are ready to:

  • Heal from trauma and chronic illness

  • Navigate toxic co-parenting with strength and clarity

  • Find balance through Ayurveda and mindful movement

  • Reconnect with Spirit, intuition, and self-trust

  • Create a sustainable, empowered life rooted in truth

Ready to Begin Your Healing?

You don’t have to do this alone. Whether you're at the beginning of your healing journey or deep in the work already, I'm here to hold space for your growth—with love, without judgment.

With so much Love

Kate
